Flower Power Cupcakes

These cupcakes will brighten up any spring day or kid-friendly event.

Start with any flavor of prepared and frosted cupcake.

To make the marshmallow flowers:

  1. Use scissors to cut large marshmallows into 4 pieces/petals.
  2. Dip one side of each petal into colored sugar of your choice.
  3. Arrange petals on top of cupcakes.
  4. Put a medium sized dot of frosting in the middle of each flower.
  5. Using small spoon, sprinkle yellow colored sugar on frosting in center of the flower.

    You can also use fresh fruit (blueberry, raspberry), candy (gum drops, M&Ms, Skittles), or a cut mini-marshmallow for the center of the cupcake as well.

Enjoy the smiles on the kids (and other moms) faces when they take a bit into these!
